The Gangsters of the 1920's
George Clarence Moran- Moran, known as Bugs, was yet another gangster from the 1920's. Moran was located in Chicago and headed the North Side Gang. He was an enemy of Al Capone, and his gang was targeted during the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in 1929. The massacre wiped out a majority of his gang. Their turf war in Chicago was fought over the bootlegging work they were carrying out at the time.Long after his work with bootlegging, Moran was arrested for robbery and sentenced to life in prison, where he died.
